Got out into the square after a leisurely swim & breakfast to find the
square full of market stalls...

Sat 8 pm

End of day fettle done ... Chain lubed... Oil water checked... Spot of
cleaning .... Can you see the nappy in situ to save the square!

Vipitano

Here's the car in the main square of Vipitano where the reception is
tomorrow morning. We were very disciplined on our stops today and
after a 12 and half drive arrived here a day early so have treated
ourselves to a room in the hotel in the square... We might have to
wash before we go in the pool.....

Passo Giovo

Jon managed to navigate us here ( good navigation really dreadful back
seat driving can't wait til it's my turn) 10yrs ago when we came up
here the weather was shocking snow and ice so we were lucky today and
fantastic views.....

Saturday lunch stop

Plat de jour....

Thinking all French food is good we went for this.... But it was truly
dreadful jon ate 1 mouthful ... I had half a sausage ..... We think it
was something innards... pipes and all ... Not tasted anything as bad
since China! Since then we have had supermaket pack lunches....

Friday night hotel

This is Saturday 6.00am as we prepare to do the last leg of the
journey....

Day 3 night in Martigny Switzerland

We're mear where we were for the alpine raid two years ago in
valloire.... Passed road signs for tje col st bernard. Another 10hour
day mostly on empty french roads and fortunately the rain was really
only in the last hour .... Found a hotel next to the road to stop for
the night .... We think a monsoon might have set in...

Lunch stop 3rd day driving

Here's Jon at the lunch time 3Ps & 1C stop...pie petrol pee and
coffee .... The café man asked aked if we are scarred that we might
break down ... We replied yes very.... But the anzani storms on.
