Had lots of discussions about the mechanical issues on the car over the weekend with lots of very knowledgable nashmen including team member SBE .... So best suggestion was getting the reverse cogs remade so the chain would fit. Worst suggestion was going back to a three speeds (that was ME)..... Mr T (aged father) wishes the car's set up to stay the same as he says that John Bolster informed him that this is how the works set it up when PH3682 was rebuilt and updated after being turned over in the 40s ..... So today dad and I visited Rodney Fowlers business in nearby Knutsford. Very exciting because we nearly got a chain on reverse and I have some chain I am hopeful I might get on the car.... I need to get rid of all the small holes in the undertray before fitting it in case I lose it as quick as the last too. Everyone seems quite happy that the reverse shaft is NOT sticky!
