so theres simething not right - not sure why it doesn't all fit.... this is a follow on from the previous blog- the spigot & bearing don't engage in the spigot bearing carrier housing...
1. could shorten the posts on the front clutch plate (the ones that the clutch straps are mounted on - straps bent in previous post)
2. could move the spigot carrier backwards
3. redo the spigot /prop....
been looking at the dimensions - in discussion the favourite is to machine a stepped washer behind the spigot carrier but i'm not sure if that won't shift the clutch into the cross shafts- sorry i can't turn this piccy to landscape....the diagram is based on Mark Joseland's April 1967 article "A Frazer Nash Clutch modification" page 50 in the FN handbook (this is not Harvard referencing!)
