WT demonstrates how to mark up a spare clutch plate and use a saw to cut out a square bracket to support toggles under pressure (ie in a Nash)

Spigot bearing carrier bolts

So they're a 3/8" UNF thread. The length used before was an inch and 1/4 in length but now with the spacer its 1 and 3/4 ". The bolts used for past 20 odd years have a round head or a cap allen head tightened up using a 8mm allen key ... The shop has the bolts in heads 1 1/2 " and 2" length with a hex head.

ball and cup joint from propshaft to bevel box

so the ball ended bolt is on the end of the propshaft and winds out to fit the cup end at the front of the bevel box.  the old ball ended bolt is bent at the head so Robin did some more technicap drawings and made me a new bolt.....
