So manifold catch up I took the manifold back to Cast Iron services for the third time,they put much more weld on and left it for Jon and I to drill.
so marked up where the stud should go and took dad over to Malcolm Leylands and he helped with his pillar drill
and with no filing of the stud hole Jon just fitted it.

As a matter of interest some time ago you got a clever device for pulling the chain together to enable easy insertion of the split link.
Did it work and if so where does a chap find one.
I'm getting quite excited about Slovenia Teaguey's Nash was in a thousand pieces on my drive yesterday. Winston assures me that nothing can possibly go wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
